Adducts of C60 and C70 with well-defined three-dimensional structure are of great importance as they possess bilological, optical and material properties .Up to now ,several electron donors such as porphyrins, ferrocenes, tetrathiafulvalenes and pathalocyanines have been attached to the fullerene cage ,We have been working with dyads composed of nitrogen heterocyclic ring derivative linked to a C60, Cyo moiet by a bismethylene bridge ,obtaining through a Diels -Alder reaction .The nitrogen heterocyclic ring derivative can be reacted as legends with transition metal and thulium .These complexes have special properties of electrochemistry and photochemistry.[1] the sythesis of C70 -piperidene dithioacid [C70-C10 H15NS2] has been finished.The synthesis of C60-6-chlo-quinoxaline[C60-C10H7ClN2] ,C60-benzimidazole [C60-H8N2] have been finished cooperately with others .Because of the complexity of bromination of 3,4,7,8-trtramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline . It is difficulty to separate . so give up in end .Hope to synthesis the Tetramethyl -BEDT-TTF . Because of the limitation of experimental condition .The reaction is diffculty to control .failed in the synthesis of 5,6-Dihydro-5,6-Dimethyl-l,3-dithiolo[4,5-b][l,4]dithiin-2-thione. [2] The excited triplet state of fullerene derivative (C60-C10HyClN2) have been observed in benzonitrile by the transient absorption bands in the NIR region. Photoinduced electron transfer processes between fullerene derivative (C60-C10H7ClN2) and TFE- TTF have been demonstrated by the dynamic experiment which detect the influences of [TFE-TTF] on the decay of the excited triplet state of fullerene derivative (C60-C10H7ClN2). and pridected the appear of the radical anion of fullerene derivative (C60-C10H7ClN2) and the radical cations of TFE-TTF. HOMO and LUMO energy have been calculated by the methods of semiempirical quantum chemistry AM 1 and PM3.
