In this context, we have studied the particle's pollution mode within the typical street canyon in Beijing. According to the data by measuring the particle nearby the three typical road surface in Beijing, we analysed the distribution of particle's diameter of TSP and the relationship between the distribution of particle's diameter, the structure of the"street canyon and the distance from the ground. It shows the main factors affecting the distribution of particle's diameter. Based on this, we have worked out the numerical models studying the particle. By using the theory of gas-solid Two-Phase Flow and Gas Kinetics, we also analysed how the velocity, height of the building and the particle's diameter affect the pollution and how the temperature of airflow distributes within the typical street canyon.
