Under the pulse magnetic field,we studied the rule that AL-Cu alloy direction so -lidification structure changed. We also analyzed the characteristic the pulse magne -tic field distributed in the melting metal with ANSYS code. Then we analyzed the characteristic the electromagnetic force and velocity distributing in the melting metal by analyzing the equation of elelctromagnetic liquid mechanics.we draw some con -elusions by studing the paper.We developed the rated charging voltage being able to amount to 1000V big power, high strength, high frequencies of the pulse magnetic field equipment. That equipment has the good capability in coontroling and adjusting the charging time, discharging and charging voltage. Designed iron was good to solve the matching problem of the pulse magnetic field equipment and the direction solidification equi -pment. Therefor metal samples can realize the direction solidification.we simulated the the magnetic field that the pulse mangenetic field equipment produced with ANSYS code .we simulated that magnetic lines offeree distributed in the melting metal.And we analyed the characteristic the electromagnetic force and velocity distributed in the melting metal by analyzing the equation of elelctromagne -tic liquid mechanics.The experiment discovered that the dendritic distance and eutectic cell cluster numbers were from small to big ,then being from big to small alone with the strength of the pulse magnetic field increasing in the condition of the direction solidification, we pointed out from electromagnetic force, energy and joule heat sides that the pulse magnetic field not only could make the metal solidification structure become small but also could make it become big. The pulse magnetic field had an effect on the crys -tal-size.The size had a max..On the other hand we discovered the shape of cylindric -al also was changed. In the end we explained the changing reason with X theory and segregation theory.In addition in the condition of the same inputting voltage we still discoveryed the dendritic distance and eutectic cell cluster numbers became big when the time of discharge increased. At the same time the shape of cylindrical also was changed. It was important that we chose the right magnetic induction strength and the time of dis -charge for refining the metal solidification structure.
