Natural Gas Liquefaction Technology Research

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), as a type of application, has obvious advantage in the storage and transportation of natural gas. It is very important to study and apply LNG techniques for making full use of gas resources.The general developing situation and foreground of the LNG industry are showed in this paper. Natural gas purifying and liquefying techniques are studied. By comparing the methods which be used usually in natural gas pretreated process, the typical process flowsheet used to remove acid gas and water are provided. The cooling methods and refrigerant cycles of liquefying process are recommended in the study of liquefied technique. Meanwhile, principal mathematics models about molecular sieve dehydration and gas-liquid equilibrium are established, which are involved in natural gas purified and liquefied process. The diagram flows and examples are provided.According to the gas characteristic in Zhongyuan oil field, three sets of treated project are chosen and compared. In the end, cascade refrigerant cycle and throttle refrigerant cycle are selected. Meanwhile, the entire process flow is described according to the process flow diagram. The project studied in this paper is used for reference to the other gas field that has similar gas character.
