In this paper, three basis problems which correlated with the evaluation of coating quality of buried pipeline were studied. They were problems about disbonded coating technique investigation, about distribution of protective potential of pipeline, about disrepair coating simulation experiment analysis .In disbonded coating technique investigation, we discussed the mechanism of the disbonded coating, emphasized the influence to cathode protection after the disbanded coating have produced ,and brought forward corresponding advice on prevent of production disbonded coating. During the discussion about distribution of protective potential of pipeline, a mathematics model of potential distribution of pipeline was established whose application condition and correlative law were studied when anode was at two opposite extreme distance from pipeline. At last, in order to anlysize the relationship between the cathode protection and the pipeline coating ,a disrepair coating simulation experiment was conducted. Based on these discussion, a practical mathematics model used to evaluate coating quality of buried pipeline byusing in-situation measurement data was established. An evaluate guideline-pinprick index was put forward, and an calculate software was developed to dynamic evaluate the quality of pipeline coating.
