This thesis has designd tungsten carbide particle reinforced composite on the surface of parts aimed at severely erosive and abrasive service condition .The composite results of series matrices (low chromium cast iron) have been investigated respectively, on the other hand ,this paper has proceeded literature summary ,through the research status of the polymer composites and apiece composition ,in this paper ,it has ensured the preparation process of particle with gradation enhanced polyurethane modified epoxy composites and has tested the relative properties of the solidified polyurethane modified epoxy substance, including cut-resistance, cross-resistance, strike-toughness. According to the experiment datum, the thesis considered it is rational to act as the composites basement.The result showed that,erosive resistance of particle reinforced matal matrix composite, in which the matrix is 0.315mm to 0.400mm with 27% in volume fraction ,is 2.7 times as that of high chromium cast iron. .In addition ,this paper has chosen the composites that take on the best properties with erosive resistance (ALO particle weight ratio is 0.135rnm-0.200mm:0.100mrn-0.071mrn=3:1; the weight ratio of polyurethane modified epoxy: ALO paricle with gradation -1:1.1.For the impeller ,this paper ascertained a optional smearing plan-mould-weightfilling ,and put forward several options to the development of the composites.
