The photocatalytic degradation of 2,4,6-trinitroresorcinol(TNR) in TiO2 nanometer powder suspention irradiated by middle pressure mercury lamp was investigated. The results showed that there is an optimal quantity of the addition of TiO2 and hydrogen peroxide.Reaction time, TNR initial concentration, air flow are strong functions of the photodegration rate. The effect of photocatalysis can be reinforced by the addition of Fe3+,Cu2+,Zn2+,Ag+and the rise or descend of pH value. On the contrary, Mn2+ just restrain it.With polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) and Titanium dioxide(TiO2) dissolved in N,N-Dimethylformanide (DMF) as binder, and TiO2 adhered to the glassfibre substrate. The TiO2 supported membrane is made. The membrane is uniform, steady, and have good effect.
