Ozonation technology has been more and more widely used in most industry fields. Although the discharge gas has been treated, it has some ozone that threatened human and the nature. So it's necessary and urgent to treat these high humidity ozone in the discharge gas. Catalytic decomposition is the most favorable method.In this paper, we've prepared manganese and silver oxide catalysts in some way and studied their catalytic performance for decomposition of high concentration ozone under high humidity condition. Cordierite-supported manganese and silver oxide catalyst had the highest catalytic activity. When the relative humidity is up to 95%, ozone concentration is 25 mg/m3, the ozone is almost totally decomposed during 500h. XRD indicated that MnOx and AgOx were highly dispersed on the support. XPS analyst showed that MnOx and AgOx interact and cooperate in catalytically decompose ozone.We also discussed the mechanism of ozone decomposition under high humidity condition. We suggested the multi-phases catalytic procedure on the manganese and silver oxide catalysts. H2O act as a reactant, take part in the catalytic process, the active materials .OH and .O2H can move freely in the multi-phased which made the catalytic sequence proceed successfully.
