Imidazoline compounds were synthesized in various roats and reaction conditions for the synthesis of the imidazoline compounds were optimized through orthogonal test. The effects of reaction condition on the product yields were discussed in this thesis. 18 different imidazoline derivatives, were synthesized and quaterisation. The corrosion inhibition effects of the imidazoline compounds synthesized on Q235 carbon steel in 1mol/L HC1 solutions and simulated solution of oil field waste water for disposal were investigated by weight loss method and polarization technique, as well as pure copper in HNO3 were investigated by weight loss method.The results show that imidazoline derivatives attain good inhibition on the corrosion of Q235 carbon steel in HC1 solutions, the molecular structure of imidazoline derivates have an important effect on the inhibition performance .The inhibition effect of copper is inferior to that of Q235 carbon steel.The adsorption behaviors of some imidazoline derivates on the surface of Q235 steel was investigated according to the experimental results of loss weight test in HC1 solutions. Results show that imidazoline derivatives follow Langmuir isotherm and the surface of electrode is a string chemical action with a high Gibbs adsorption free energy for adsorption. The corresponding adsorption thermodynamic parameters were calculated.The imidazoline compounds can also inhibit the corrosion of Q235 carbon steel in simulated solution of oil field waste water for disposal. Factors, such as temperature ,salt concettration ,pH and oxygen content in the solution ,which have an important effect on the inhibition performance of imidazoline.On the characteristic of corrosion solution , were applied to investigate the synergistic effect of imidazoline compounds with inorganic compounds was investigated by the loss weight method and Tafel polarization curve.lt was found that Na2MoO4 and NH2.NH2. H2O have a good synergistic effect with imidazoline derivatives ,the inhibitive efficiency of imidazoline inhibitor was improved great by combining with them, and the inhibition mechanism of corrosion inhibitors was studied.
