| High-viscosity melt gear pump is a kind of positive-displacement devices, which transport melt through the constant volume of tooth-channel, so that the outlet pressure will not vary with fluctuation of inlet pressure. Now, the gear pump has been widely used in the extrusion of thermoplastic production lines such as pipes, profiles, sheets, films, cables, co-extrusion and large scale extrusion palletizing, and the application scope will keep widening.Polymer processors have utilized gear-pump-assisted extrusion to solve critical issues In the diverse plastics industry. The pump does not only generate the needed pressure, relieve the extruder of work, but can reduce heat from the shear, lower the torque required, and eliminate surging.
