Based On Image Processing Cigarettes Packaging Line Real-time Detection System

The paper studies on a kind of system of packaging-checking in tobacco field which has good market potential. The top concern of development is how to recognize the disqualification image and apply real-time algorithm.The dissertation discusses the process of developing the system of on-line inspection for cigarette case in detail. First, On the base of introducing some basic theory about the digital image processing and some knowledge about programming design for Windows operation system, the paper expound some special measures for improve the system function: changing color image to gray image, the matching method of standard image and real-time image, how to eliminate the influence because of asymmetry illumination, storied inspect and so on. This part is the key of all system, and results from theory analysis and application in locale show that these methods are powerful to satisfy the need of design. Second, this paper introduces how to realize parallel communication with 51 serial microcontroller in Windows operation system and how to apply CCD camera and frame grabber. It explains the parallel communication of the PC as the master and microcontroller as the dominated. Third, in order to administer the standard images efficiently, the system of images database is built, which is based on ADO. At last, The dissertation discusses a system of data gathering based on client-server construction, through which the operator can learn the state of every product line.
