During the last century, the Hall-Heroult cell was developed a lot, the technique is already very mature. Its development direction is prebaked anode cell which has big capacity, large-size cell structure and highly automation control system. In modern aluminum electrolysis people pursue high efficiency, low pollution and imbecility energy consumption. Being in the light of this kind of thoughts, based on the domestic and international industrial practice, together with the technical experience "Four low One high" in domestic aluminum industrial, I have designed the 200-300kA aluminum electrolysis cell, chosen and fully proved its technical economic parameters, accounted the material balance, voltage balance and energy balance. The designed cell is side-hot-spreading and bottom-hot-keeping, adapting half-graphite coke cathode whose width is coincide with the projection of the anode and chemically forestalling seepage technique and coke preheat technique prolong the cell's life. The mode of current input is four points in the big surface so as to efficiently decrease the magnetic field disturbance and accordingly to make the cell run more stably.
