The multi-component polymer coating material was prepared. The surface-active agent was added to improve the wetting property between the resin liquid and urea. Three different methods were employed to coat urea, and their coating effect was compared. It was found that the simple tumbling coating technique is an effective coating method in the laboratory. Then orthogonal experiment was conducted in order to find the proper technical conditions. The dimethyamino-benzaldehyde colorimetry was use to determine the solution rate of polymer-coated urea in the water, and its reliability was investigated. The slow-release character of the polymer-coated urea and the correlation between the slow-release property and coating material were researched. The result shows that the polymer-coated urea has excellent slow release property, it is capable to control the release rate of coated urea in the meantime. |
