The single pass compression tests had been carried out, by Thermomastor-Z thermal simulator, to investigate the stress-strain curve of IF steel at the temperature from 1000C to 700 C, strain between 0.1 and 0. 7, strain rates 1~70/s. According to the analysis of the stress-strain curve , we deem, during deformation, dynamic recovery should be the main softened mechanism under the conditions of this test. Through linear regression on the experimental data, the mathematical model of flow stress was constructed for IF steel during warm rolling. The outcome calculated approximated to the tested results. So this model can exactly describe the rule of flow stress of IF steel in ferrite range. On the base of flow stress model and combined with others mathematical model which describe the process of rolling, a software was compiled to simulate the warm rolling by Visual Basic. Using this software, we calculated the parameters of several product ion lines.
