Fluorine is an element of great environmental interest and fluoride is one of the pollution controlling species. Combustion of coal is a potential source of fluoride in the atmosphere and environment. In allusion to fluoride pollutions of coal-fired power plant gas. we firstly study the dry defluorinate through experiments of fluoride retention studies of some classic adsorbent. Via the method of experiment combined with theory analysis, we clarify the factors and theories related with experiment, and offer definitude ideas on sorbent exploitation. The research has the feature of innovation and practicability, which is important to solve the pollutions of fluoride.Firstly, characteristic and harm of fluoride pollution by coal combustion were reported, and there are some problems of coal pollution control.Secondly, based on systems analysis of all kind of fluorin measure method, high frequency induction furnace / the Fluoride Ion-Selective Electrod (ISE) is the best measure method.Afterwards, we carry through extract experiment of sorbent, analyze the inherent mechanism of absorption. At last, we study the microcosmic pore structure characteristic of fluoride retention by mercury porosimetry and SEM visualization.
