The stainless steel are widely used in every field . However, fracture and wrinkling in deep-drawing are common defects caused by its strongly work hardening and that lead to the production yield low. In this paper investigated the deep-drawing process of 304 austenitic stainless steel sheet and the friction and lubrication in the deforming process of the shell of permissible respirator self rescue from carbon monoxide. It is followed as:(l)On the basis of drawing theory, analyzied the principle, method, furnishment and heat treatment in the deep-drawing process. And explained the cracking failure, wrinkling and residual stress in the process of forming this manufacture in order to deduce the degree of asymmetric transmutation and guide to make the practical process.(2) Analysing the friction of the forming this manufacture and selecting and confecting the new lubricant, and getting an excellent lubricant to draw the stainless steel product after testing property of several kinds of lubricant.(3) Modelling the drawing deform process under four kinds of friction coefficient by using the ABAQUS FEM software. Analysing the influence of friction coefficient to 304 stainless steel in the drawing process.(4)By improving process scheme and drawing deforming die, using no blank drawing instead of the olds to avoid the wrinkling . And adding an out blank holder in the second case drawing process and adding a groove to store lubricant oil in the die, improving the lubricant affect largely and getting the good product,and the production yield is expected to improve greatly.
