Ethylene industry is fundamental of petrochemical industry all over the world, and ethylene technology is the point and key in the field of petrochemical technology. For many years, depropane selective hydrogenation catalysts depended on import, and is not benefit of developing of own ethylene technology.It is hard conditions to front-end catalysts, that higher activity, higher selectivity, lower oligomer formation, and stability of CO are all required.By ways of injection of new kinds of promoter, increased the selectivity of catalyst, expend operating windows. All these are benefit for using of industry.Brought forward an idea, that stability of CO is connect with selectivity. Analysis industry reactor, approved that high increasing of concentration of CO, that leaking of acetylene is necessity, and hand the suggestion. Improved catalyst is better than import catalyst.Research the temperature run away, point out the reason of catalyst bed temperature run away is ethylene hydrogenation. Give idea of activity sites transformation, and the point of transformation is effect on CO concentration in feed.Research process of oligomer formation in front-end selective hydrogenation reaction. Found that oligomer cause selectivity decrease. At lower temperature, formation of coke is the result of oligomer dehydrogenation, and increase the gaining of ethane at the same time. Use the Voorhies formula, got that longer reaction time lower formation of oligomer. And shorter RT is the reason of decreasing of oligomer at higher space velocity. The advanced catalyst is better than imported catalyst in formation ofoligomer.According to industrial requirement, prepare gear shape catalyst, its pressure droplower than sphere catalyst, and the advantage of gear catalyst distinctness at higher space velocity. Expand a new way of resolving high pressure droping.
