The shorter service life of single roller crushers installed on the end of sinter machine is a difficult technology problem to the steel-iron industry. Because of the hard work condition of crusher, the service life of using- wind-to-cool crusher is only one month, although it is prolonged by being welded the resist fray materials . The research's aim is to prolong the crusher's service life to two or three.months.To improve the single crusher's service life, the following research has been done:(1) The roller force and the fretting lapse character of the stachelbrecher has been analyzed; (2)Those affect high Cr cast iron resist fret has been analyzed;(3) The stachelbrecher structure has been changed; (4)After analysis a lot of materials that they are resist fret,a kind of resisting fret material has been researched ;(5) The new material's weld has been analyzed; (6) the effect of the heat treatment to the new material resisting fret has been analyzed; (7) the resisting fret between the new kind of material and the FB-lmaterail has been compared; (8)The new kind of material to the factory has been used and the answer of using the new kind material has been analyzed.Through system analysis and test some result can be concluded:(l) the major reason affecting the stachelbrecher life is the heat fret;(2) Improving the crusher stachelbrecher hard can greatly improve the stachelbrecher life;(3) Before welded ,the stachelbrecher should be heated to 200-300℃. When the material is been welded, it should be welded on both sides on turns. The weld is less than 10s everywhere. The resist fray material can be welded on the slachelbrecher; (4)The resist fray material can bear the stachelbrecher work condition .This research is not only useful to research the material performance under the high temperature . but also useful to research questions under the analogy work condition.
