This paper has studied on the effect of various factors in the systhesizing reaction of chlorosulfomated polyethylene (CSM) from chlorinated polyethene (CPE) by gas-solid phase in boiling bed reactor. It has discussed the effect of various factors, including mol ratio of reacting gases, reacting time, irradiation time of vitalight, the initial temperature and granularity of raw material, on the process of reaction and content of sulphur of CSM. And the main result as follow:Mol radio of various reacting gases, reacting time and irradiation time of vitalight all affect the process of reaction and the content of sulphur of CSM. The initial temperature has effect on the process of reaction, but has no effect on the content of sulphur of CSM. And granulartity of raw material has no distinct effect on the content of sulphur of CSM.The reaction activation energy is studied in this paper and the result is Ea=9.12KJ/mol.Additionally, the performance of CSM synthesized by gas-solid phase is studied too in this paper. The result is the main performance of CSM is all in the range of values of Hypalon serious products, but is not same completely as either of Hypalon products.
