Early field life, the relatively sparse well pattern is sometimes adopt for developing the concentration reserves and the layers of better productive capacity, so the reserves is employed insufficiency and the residual oil is quite fertile. When the oil field turn into high water-cut development phase, well pattern thickening and regularization is seized of quite consequence in the production management, and is widely responsible for the oil field later production capacity, exploitation age limit, ultimate recovery as well as the economic benefit of oil field. In order to improve the existent develop effect of the oil field, slacken the decline of production, depress the increased rate of water cut. prolong the economy production life of the oil field, realize its high and stable yield for relatively long time, reduce the loss of reserves, increase the producible oil index, well pattern thickening and regularization is often carry out, increasing well density is restricted in technology and economy, it is very important how to make sure reasonable well density. Effect well pattern infilling factors of the mid-later production performance for development of the field was studied firstly from engineer technologic and economic in this paper, and on the base of these work, from engineer technologic , macroeconomics and microeconomics three calculation methods for calculate the later well pattern thickening of development of the field were established, namely the method of pressure gradient-in and out spacing of wells, the method of input-output and the method of cash flow. The calculation method for predicting the law of non-uniform flow of the adjusted oil field or oil well was also established. The corresponding calculation program for all kinds of algorithms in this paper was compiled using the Visual Basic programming language. At the end of this paper, all of the reached fruits were applied to the practice of well pattern thickening and regularization for XB oil field, the validity of it was examined in practical situations.
