Reservoir geometry and heterogeneities significantly influence the pressure transient response in underground reservoir fluid flow. The analytical solution can only be used in the problems that have simple and regular shapes such as rectangle, line fault and so on. In the fact, the supply area of reservoir and well is not regular and especially in complex reservoir. The conventional analytical method doesn't handle the flow problems with complex boundaries. It needs a new method to improve the well-testing analysis and forecast of reservoir engineering.Boundary element method has the characteristics of dimension, calculating fast, high precision and giving the inter solution easy, only dividing the research area boundaries. It is a advanced tools to account for the steady and transient problems and the single phase transient flow problem. This paper use the BEM to study the well-pressure transient respond with complex boundary of reservoir, and to present the mathematical model of multiple-well flow and the boundary integral equation or calculational model both in real space and in laplace space, and give the program to calculate the pressure respond. Example solutions are verified against known analytic solutions. Numerical features of the boundary element methods, such as the number of nodal points and the interpolation methods are investigated in detail. In this paper, a variety of problems have been considered in here such as complex boundary case, multiple-well case and different position of well. Lots of typical curves of drop have been given. It provides the theoretic reference to identify the flow character and to estimate the model of explain.By the research of this paper, the combine of the BEM and the laplace transform is a virtual tools to the single-phase flow problem. The use of numerical method will accelerate the development of the numerical well test and transient forecast technique.
