In this paper, a comprehensive introduction of micro-arc oxidation, including its mechanism, influence factors and preparation methods was described. By means of the micro-arc oxidation technique high quality ceramic coatings with high micro-hardness, strong adhesion, high strength and high wear resistance can be synthesized. The coating can be used in many fields.In the experiments, we try to use different kinds of electrolyte (including:RPO4 H2S04 H3P04&H2S04 H3P04 and so on..) to synthesize ceramic coatings on Titanium alloy surface by micro-arc oxidation technique. Then find out the best electrolyte to do the next step. In the next step of the experiment, we use the same electrolyte with different voltage and time of treatment to optimize our parameter. Ceramic coatings have been synthesized on Titanium alloy surface by micro-arc oxidation technique in different voltage and time. The effect of photocatalysis of the structure and the changing on these ceramic coating are analyzed. The result shows that higher voltage and longer reaction time have advantageous influence on photocatalysis of the ceramic coating. The XRD figure shows that:samples treated under low voltage, there is no integrity film on the surface, while the high voltage ones have. And the films are much more better while the voltage are high or the time of treatment are longer. The efficiency of photocatalysis treated in different voltage, 3min are from 10% to 58%, and which in 450v different time are 47% to 80%.
