The main task of the dissertation research the trace layout and interpolation module of open architecture NC system.Trace layout module is to convert the profiles of accessories into the motion routes of the tools center. The article do a good job in compensation for the radius of the tool.Interpolation module is the core technique in NC technology. Its quality will affect the ability of NC system directly, and it is the main tache that to be improved and completed in dire need. In the article, B-Spline interpolation and NURBS interpolation are researched in order to meet the urgent requirement in the machining of complex curves and surfaces.
