Gas-assisted injection molding technology (GAIM) is an innovative process which is developed for the purpose of conquering the localizations of conventional injection molding and blow molding. It comprises a partial injection of polymer melt into the mold cavity, followed by an injection of compressed gas (usually nitrogen gas) into the polymer melt. The compressed gas will drive the melt filling the mold cavity, then make a hollow bore in the part section, and accomplish post-filling with pneumatic pressure. The process has inherent advantages of lower injection pressure, less material consumption, less shrinkage & warpage, better surface quality, and can be used to manufacture large and thick parts or parts which have both thick and section. With product design, mould structure and mold equipment determined, technics parameters directly affect melt flowing inside the mold and final defect problems and optimized parameters is the premise of a sound product without defects.CAE technology can help technics engineers to optimize technics, but the methods generally used depend on the CAE analysis instead of repeated molding process, which takes quite a long time for CAE analysis if the product has complicated technics and geometry model because of its huge size and complicated characteristics. This paper has conducted a great deal of research on determining technics parameters with the help of rational and effective usage of CAE analysis software to make products without defect.In recent years, many scholars has tried all kinds of technologies of artificial intelligence, and made great achievements from analysis in traditional injection molding. To sum up, it mainly depends on experts' knowledge and interact systemic development of intervention. There are also other ways as research with single guideline and research determining its quality, which is lacking in optimized research in integrated and quantity guidelines of injection products.
