Asymmetric synthesis using polymer-supported chiral phase transfer catalyst is a new method that has just been developed in rencent years. It has attracted our attention in view of its easy separation from the reaction mixture and the recyclability of the polymer-support-ed chiral catalyst. The aim of this thesis is to synthesize some new chiral quarternary ammonium salts from the popular material──chlor-amphenicol, and then we used these chiral quarternary ammonium salts in some substitution reactions and addition reactions in order to research their catalystic action and asymmetric induction. Followings are the aim work of this thesis: 1. It summarized the development and the recently research work on using polymer-supported chiral amine salts and quaternary ammonium salts as phase transfer catalyst in these years. 2. Using trimethlamine as beginning material, using chloromethyla-ted polystyrene as supporter,by the reaction of quaternarization,we get a new quaternary ammonium salt as phase transfer catalyst:PTC-1. 3. Using chloramphenicol as beginning material,by the reaction of hydrolysis, neutralization and dimethylation, using chloromethlated polystyrene as supporter,by the reaction of quaternarization,we get a new chiral quaternary ammonium salt as phase transfer catalyst: PTC-2 .Through the anion-exchange between this catalyst and sodium hydrogen carbonate,we get another new chiral quaternary ammonium salt as phase transfer catalyst:PTC-3. 4. Using chloramphenicol as beginning material,by the reaction of hydrolysis, neutralization and dimethylation, using polystyrene with a six-methylenne spacer as supporter,by the reaction of quaternarization, we get a new chiral quaternary ammonium salt as phase transfer catalyst:PTC-4.Through the anion-exchange between this catalyst and sodium hydrogen carbonate,we get another new chiral quaternary ammonium salt as phase transfer catalyst:PTC-5. 5. Using chloramphenicol as beginning material,by the reaction of...
