Along with the surface soil layer thickness that a new mine is drilling through increasing, frozen shaft lining is receiving more and more underground pressure. In order to withstand the formidable underground pressure, a high strength shaft lining structure will have to be used in the mine.Presently, aiming at the compound structure of single inner steel sheet and high strength reinforcing concrete being applied in the deep frozen shaft drilling through the very thickness surface soil, there is still no research about it in the world. In the course of designing, there are not any data about its bearing capacity and reliability, which consequently impedes the application of the shaft lining in the mine. In order to resolve this problem, in the thesis, systematical research about its mechanical trait has to be done through the combination method of theory analyses, physical simulation tests and numerical simulation calculations. Firstly, the sectional stress, sectional strain and the ultimate bearing capacity of the shaft lining are analyzed from the face of theory, and a theoretical formula for calculating the ultimate bearing capacity of the shaft lining is presented. Secondly, a shaft lining's similarity rule is established and mechanism, deformation and ultimate bearing capacity of structure are attained from the face of physical simulation tests. Thirdly, the data resembling the data from physical simulation tests was get from the face of numerical simulation calculations,, which shows that the numerical simulation calculations is very correct. Therefore, the main factors that influence the ultimate bearing capacity of the shaft lining were analyzed by the method of numerical simulation calculation, and then a regressive formula of the ultimate bearing capacity is obtained by the multiply regression analysis method. This paper's conclusions provide fundamental basis for applying the kind of shaft lining structure.
