In the course of gas reservoir with sour gases exploration, many questions appear and should be solved because nature gas contained sulfur. In the base of studying lots of data, this paper studied and analyzed the mechanism of sulfur deposition, affecting deposition factors and deposition conditions, then studied sour gases PVT parameter, gas flow behavior in the sour gas well. Mainly studied the prediction model of sulfur deposition in the stratum and transient well test of sour gas well. The mainly achievements obtained are followed.1. Analyzed and summarized the mechanism and conditions of sulfur deposition, the factors affected deposition and disadvantage of sulfur deposition. So understood the mechanism of gas reservoir/well contained sulfur in exploration and production clearly and systematically.2. Studied and analyzed natural gases contained sulfur how affected the nature gas PVT parameter in the high pressure and temperature, and then gave a solution to obtain deviation factor of nature gas contained sulfur.3. Studied and analyzed the gas flow behavior in the well bore, then gave a solution of calculating static bottom hole pressure and bottom hole producing pressure of gas well contained sulfur using well head parameter (wellhead pressure).4. Built sulfur deposition in the stratum prediction model in the base of gas Darcy flow and non-Darcy flow respectively, and then drew the typical curves of sulfur saturation with production time according to production example. In the next, analyzed the characteristic of sulfur deposition and pointed out the difference of two models.5. Building apparent wellbore radius solution well test explanation model and compound reservoir of homogeneous reservoir contained sulfur respectively. Obtained their solution in Laplace space, and then drew the well test typical curves in the real space, analyzed characteristic of curves and pressure behavior, and then gave the methods of well test interpretation. Especially, studied pressure behavior of different sulfur saturation, gave a new solution for well test explanation of sour gas well.
