Crude oil can't flow under the initial condition, because of the high viscosity. Heavy oil haven't been exploited on a large scale, because the common exploitation is poor efficiency. With the continuous development of national economy, we need more and more energy. So, recovering heavy oil is imperative under the situation.Well test, as an important method of knowing the reservoir, compared with core analysis and logging, which can directly log the data when the well is production. The method and interpretation software of thin oil well test has been perfectly developed. At home, the corresponding method of thermal recovery well test in heavy oil started very late, because that thermal recovery heavy oil in a big way is very late. With the exploitation and theory gone deep into continuously, developing the method and interpretation software of thermal recovery well test is possibility.This paper study the thermal recovery well test of heavy oil according to general process of modern well test: physical modelâ†'mathematical modelâ†'dimensionless modelâ†'Laplace transform â†' solve the model in Laplace space â†'numerical reverseâ†' solution of real space.This paper is based on the basic theory of fluid mechanics in porous medium and achievement obtained by former people. Extensive and deep studying is carried on thermal recovery well test. Thermal recovery well test models have been established and worked out, thus new corresponding type curves have been plotted. Therefore, we analyze the characteristic of the type curves and discuss the influence to type curve of parameter.Flowing results have been presented:1). The computation method for some thermodynamic properties of water vapor, hot water and rock has been studied, and the corresponding software has been developed;2). Further studying on principle of thermal recovery heavy oil with steam driving;3). Well test model for two region composite reservoirs in heavy oil well by thermal recovery considering heat loss has been established and worked out, the corresponding type curves have been plotted. Based on these, we discussed the influence to type curve of parameter;4) . Well test model for three'region composite reservoirs in heavyoil well by thermal recovery considering heat loss has been established and worked out at first, the corresponding type curves have been plotted. Based on these, we discussed the influence to type curve of parameter;5). Interference testing model in heavy oil well by thermal recovery considering heat loss has been established and worked out, the corresponding type curves have been plotted. Based on these, we discussed the influence to type curve of parameter;6).Multiwell test model in heavy oil well by thermal recovery considering heat loss has been established and worked out, the corresponding type curves have been plotted. Based on these, we discussed the influence to type curve of parameter;7). Well test model in Newtonian and Non- Newtonian fluids composite reservoirs has been established and worked out, the corresponding type curves have been plotted. Based on these, we discussed the influence to type curve of parameter;8). "Heavy Oil Thermal Recovery Well Testing Analysis Software" has been developed with "Visual Basic6.0" .which can get the permeability, skin factor and the radius of steam driving.
