As many Chinese electric welding machines have the disadvantages of complex control circuits, defective reliability and flexibility and insufficient function, A kind of new Multifunctional Digital inversion Electric Welding Machine which can perform common MMA welding, direct current or impulse CO2/MIG/MAG welding, direct current or impulse TIG welding is proposed.The hardware configurations of the Multifunctional Digital inversion welding machine are firstly introduced in this paper. The design essentials and the parameter choices of power control cell circuits, the TIG control cell circuits and the MIG control cell circuits are also discussed. Then the function of software and the means of MIG control cell design and main control cell design are briefly analyzed. The corresponding flow charts of main programs and interrupt serving programs are also be showed. In order to overcome the disadvantages of narrow adjustment range and bad linearity and comparative slow response, A kind of wire-feeder PWM two close-loop speed adjustment system which based on Fuzzy PID is proposed. The mathematic model and the simulation of wire-feed machine are also performed to show it's good control results. All sorts of disturbances are effectively eliminated through the means of the combination of hardware and software measures.Computer simulations and field experiments have showed that the whole welding machine control system is well designed and multifunctional.it has good performance and high efficiency in welding process,thus the Multifunction and the requirements of welding techniques can be well satisfied.
