In this thesis, cinchonidine was modified by measures of chemistry, and different synthesis methods of polymer-supported cinchona alkaloids were studied. In addition, homopolymer of cinchonidine and diblock copolymer were synthesized by using Reversible Addition Fragmentation chain Transfer technique (RAFT). Finally, N-(Diphenylmethylene) glycine tert-butyl ester which was used as a substrate was synthesized. This thesis consists of three parts:1. The synthesis of dendronized polymer (or dendrimer)-supportedcinchona alkaloidsChiral phase-transfer catalyst 3 (N-(9-Anthracenylmethyl) cinchonidinium bromide) was synthesized from cinchonidine and 9-hydroxymethylan thracene, andmodified by using different anhydride.'The factors that affected the reaction, such as temperature, solvent were investigated.2.
