The Spinning-machine's Spindle component is the key unit of Spinning-machine in coil process technology, which works long time in a high temperature, humidity and chemical erodes environment. The working station or the failure rate of the unit directly affects product quality and efficiency. The traditional maintenances, depending on serviced experience after breakdown, already not to be able to meet the production need.The equipment failure diagnosis technique is a new technology, which applies advanced technologies to monitor and analyze the equipment state variables on-line and judges failure of the equipment, the breakdown spot and the reason as well as the fault deteriorated tendency, and then makes the reasonable maintenance schedule. This technology promoted the equipment service system transformation, which caused the equipment service system great changes from the traditional Run-to-Breakdown Maintenance way to Time-based Preventive Maintenance way and even Condition-based Maintenance way. Through the approach, both dead time and the maintenance cost can be reduced to enhance the equipment reliability. The quantity of Spinning-machine's Spindle is huge in textile enterprises, therefore there is the vital economical significance in carrying on the condition monitoring and the fault diagnosis to spinning industry.This paper studied the failure type and fault module of the spindle unit and established the fault supervisory system and carried on the fault diagnosis, which can be shown as follows:(1) The spindle motor stator winding and the rotor winding fault type and the mechanism were analyzed, has contrasted the commonly used diagnosis method technical characteristic. The Park vector method and the impedance zero-method carries were used in the fault diagnosis of the stator winding and the rotor winding.(2) The bearing of fault type and vibration mechanism were analyzed, resonance demodulation technology was used in the bearing of fault diagnosis.
