The waste water produced in the process of oil and gas exploration is one of the main sources that pollute the environment. It has the characteristic of complex ingredient and it has many different kind of petroleum component and many other materials contained in the addictive which is put into the well-drilling fluid. High COD and variable waste water is also its characteristic. The paper based on the well-drilling waste fluid taken from the worksite designs the treatment process of colloid-breaking, pHysical and chemical oxidization, Fe /C electrolysis, the second oxidization. According to the process different experimental condition is determined and furthermore being optimized. We also take part in part of the process design and experiment done in the worksite. The experiment proves that with the multi-step waste water treatment process the waste water being disposed can meet the Water Quality (II) of integrated Wastewater Discharged standard. The process is economically practicable. The disposed water can be used in recycle or be flown back to the river. The research result provides a new method for the treatment of the well-drilling waste fluid.
