The increasingly environmental wastewater pollution situation, have already produced endangerment to the ecosystem environment, produced the huge influence and pressure to people's life and production, caused the deep concern of the society. One of the key problems that resolve the environmental wastewater pollution is to develop the new wastewater treatment agent that have good capability, is cheaper and amity to the environment. Use calcium-bentonite as carrier, we load high-active Al2O3 and another one active ingredient M to prepare a kind of efficient Al-M-the modified bentonite wastewater treatment agent (AMB wastewater treatment agent) by chemical reaction and high-temperature calcination. We use infrared spectrum to study its structure, discuss the mechanism of wastewater treating process. We get better treating results by using AMB to deal with variety organic wastewater and two kinds of drilling wastewater, the decolourizing ratio and the degradation ratio of COD can exceed 90%. The absorption behavior of dyestuffs wastewater can be well represented by fake quadratic equation of adsorption kinetics and langmuir absorption isotherms equation, this show that the absorption speed to dyestuffs wastewater depend on chemical absorption and the absorption behavior is monolayer absorption. The ultraviolet and visible light spectrum of treated and untreated wastewater show that AMB has some ability of catalysis and decompose to organic pollutant.
