Batch tests were used to illustrate the releasing ability on two kinds of heavy metals Cu,Pb in three areas sediments, the Huanghe Estuary,North of Bohai Bay and Economic Development Zone of Dalian. The acid effect, kinetics, salt effect and grain-size effect have been researched in order to learn the effect of different facts and master the rule of Cu,Pb releasing. The results as follows:(1)The rules of Cu,Pb releasing are similar in three different areas. The max release is in the acid area. The releasing qualities are decreasing followed the increasing of pH.The turning point is during pH from 4 to 6.The releasing quality is much lower in meutral and basic areas;Excepting a few exceptional point, the releasing quality and percentage Cu>Pb.Under the same pH,the releasing qualities are increasing but the releasing percentages are decreasing followed the contaminated concentrations; The releasing qualities are very small in three area sediments(100~101μg/g).The releasing percentages of Cu,Pb are under 10% in Huanghe Estuary. While in north of Bohai Bay and Economic Development Zone Cu is under 6%,Pb is under 5% especially during meutral and basic areas are under 1%.(2)The Cu,Pb releasing kinetics are composed of two pHases. The first pHase is quickly releasing pHase. The releasing speed is fast.More than 90% Cu,Pb are released during this pHase. The second pHase is slow releasing pHase. The releasing speed is much slower than the first pHase.Only little heavy metals released from this pHase; The higher the contaminated concentrations the faster the releasing speed.Under the same contaminated concentrations, the releasing quality and percentage Cu>Pb.The times reaching the balance are similar.( 3 ) In the three different areas.Under the same grain-size,the releasing qualities and percentages are increasing followed the salinity...
