This thesis summarizes the method of treatment of the heavy mental wastewater, research survey, level as well as development trend in and out of China. It emphasizes the current situation and developing direction on the treatment of heavy mental wastwater by sulfide, points out the goal and significance of treatment of the heavy mental wastewater by a kind of new sulfide (SPHM).The inorganic sulfide SPHM used on treatment of the heavy mental wastewater was synthesized using sodium hydroxide and sulfur, the optimum reaction conditions were obtained by experiments. Properties of SPHM were studied. We draw a conclusion that SPHM has a great effect when treated with the single iron simulation wastewater, on the basis of it, we impose the complexity of the wastewater, using SPHM on the treatment of the simulation mixed wastewater and electroplate wastewater, which also gets a great effect. The time and rate in the procedure of removal of the Cu2+, Zn2+, Cr6+, Ni2+, Pb2+ simulation wastewater on the basis of gray system theory can be predicted. The effect of removal of the Zn2+ simulation wastewater by SPHM has been tested. At the same time , G M(1,1) has been set up based on gray system theory ,and the next concentration of Cu2+, Zn2+, Cr6+, Ni2+,Pb2+ during the removal procedure can be predicted by it .It certifies that the experiment value fits in the predicting one. This thesis sets up the two models kinetics model and exponential one which describes the procedure of treatment of the Cu2+, Zn2+, Cr6+, Ni2+, Pb2+ simulation wastewater, and their parameters can be found out. It also proves that the removal of the Cu2+, Zn2+, Cr6+, Ni2+, Pb2+ simulation wastewater is one-stage kinetics reaction. And the internal relationship between these two models has been studied too. We draw a conclusion that these two models describe the same thing from different aspects; in fact, they are the same.
