At present, since fluorobenzene liquid crystal and cyclohexyl crystal are very popular liquid crystals. some research have done on the synthesis of the intermediate, fluorophenol and alkylcyclohexylbenzene compounds in this thesis.The synthesis of fluorophenol. Fluorophenol, is an important intermediate of liquid crystal, can also be used in the fields of medicine and pesticides. Some research and analysis on the reaction of 2,4-difluoronitrobenzene and nucleophilic reagent alcohol sodium (methyl alcohol ,ethyl alcohol, propyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, t-butyl alcohol, et hl) and the reaction choice of opposite -F in different solvent(alcohol, THF, benzene, DMF) and conditions have done in this paper. 2-Fluoro-4-nitrophenylmethylether, 5-fluoro-2-nitrophenylmethylether and other phenylether are obtained from these reactions. Heating the fluorophenylmethylether in benzene, with AlCl3 as the catalyst, fluorophenyl is obtained. The obtained intermediates and products have been proved by 1HNMR and IR.The synthesis of alkylcyclohexylbenzoic acid: take the synthesis of ethylcyclohexylbenzoic acid as a typical example. With the AlCl3 as the catalyst, cis+trans acetylcyclohexylbenzene is synthesized from the reaction of acetyl chloride, cyclohexene and benzene. Then the cis+trans ethylcyclohexylacetophenone is obtained through the reduction of wolf-huangminglong and Frieded-Crafts acylation of cis+trans ethylcyclohexylbenzeng with acetyl chloride; and then trans-ethylcyclohexylacetophenone is got through purifying; following by oxidizing the trans-ethylcyclohexyl acetophenone, trans-ethylcycolhenylbenzoic acid is obtained. Since the reaction products alkylcyclohexylbenzene have a nmber of cis-products which does not possess such characteristic as Liquid Crystal Characteristic, and the existence of many cis-products lead to the low recovery of a series of trans-alkylcyclohexylbenzene compounds. The greater cost of production, little concern of the transformation and separation, lack of critical technology and related literature of systematic structure analysis of the above mentioned compounds by 1HNMR and IR. Factors influencing the reaction to synthesize trans-alkylcyclohexylbenzoic acid is discussed.
