Supercritical carbon dioxide is famous for its characteristic, as it is both nontoxic, nonflammable, low cost, convenient to use, dyeing without water. SC-CO2 is major in disperse dyeing on synthetic fibers. Because of its low polarity, it is difficult to apply to nature fibers dyeing. Meanwhile, it is found that azoic dyes are ill for people's health, natural pigments are environmental benign and nontoxic, some of them even possess special function such as medical care, so natural pigments became booming again. This paper combines natural pigments with SC-CO2 dyeing process, not only aims at solving problems of color fastness of natural pigments, but also building a clean dyeing process. This paper abstract chlorophyll from spinage and other leaves, synthesize chlorophyllin derivative which was much more stable, and dyed wool fibers and cotton fabrics with it. According to orthogonal experiment, comparing of influence factors such as pressure, temperature, dye usage, pH etc, and traditional dyeing process, it's found that SC-CO2 dyeing is possible and can obtain good dyeing effect. This study is significant for cleanness dyeing process, SC-CO2 dyeing with natural pigments is destined to spread out one day.
