The water environment in the Fuxianhu lake was being degradated heavely in these years, and the development trend of the water body's pollution and water eutrophication is accelerating in the lake.Base on a preliminary investigation, one of main reasons of the water quality's degradation of Fuxianhu lake is that the loss of phosphorus which was resulted from the phosphate's development in the area of Maotianshan Mountain. However, there is hardly expert who pay more attention abourt the environmental problem of this area, espacily aim to the Phosphorus release kinetics, nowadays.Therefore, some reaserchs were done and several conclusions related to these reaserchs have been given in this paper:(1) Analyzed the development of phosphorus mineral resource of this area and its environmental effects. The key analysis is the influence of the environmental effects on Fuxian Lake.(2) Simulation study on phosphorus release and the fluorine release of this area. Phosphorus release kinetics and Fluorine release kinetics from phosphorite, overburden, sediment, and waste residues like gypsum and clay phosphorus on the effect of pH and rainy frequency were studied. The combination of batch balance experiments and column leaching studies was conducted in the present study. The results showed that the amount of P release and F release from gypsum and clay phosphorus remained steady regardless the effect of pH. However, P release and F release from phosphorite, overburden, and sediment were pH dependent. And the results of column studies showed that P release and F release from samples phosphorite, overburden, and sediment, especially from overburden, were increased when leaching again after drying process.(3) There are some countermeasures that include the recovery of the phosphate mined land, the solution of the environmental problem of the phosphorus chemical industry, and design of the P mining area environment information system of Mao Tianshan area based on GIS, have been researched for this area.By the analysis of the environmental effects of this area, and the simulation study on its phosphorus release and the fluorine release, the aim of the paper is to show thatthe environmental problem of this area is serious, since this area is a main factor which lead to Fuxian Lake was lasting polluted. In addition, it can provide some foundation and countermeasures for how to solve the problem of this area.
