But with no-modification the mesoporous silica has a low heat stability and reaction active.so its application is strongly limited.By organic-modification we can precisely control the surface character(both inside and outside) and pore size of the mesoporous silica,also can improve its hydrolysis stability.The organic-inorganic hybrid mesoporous materials concurrently have both organic and inorganic property,the fronter can introduce flexible and active group to the framework,the latter can improve it's mechanical property.structural peoperty and heat stability.In this paper period mesoporous silicas were synthesized using CTAB and PEO-PPO-PEO as template.The materials were characterized by N2 adsorption, XRD and HTEM.The results showed that the materials have high BET surface areas, uniform mesopore distribution, typical XRD diffraction and adsorption isotherm of type IV,and periodic arrays of parallel-aligned mesoscale channel.We have chosen 3 kinds of silicane coupling agents as silica resources to synthesize periodic mesoporous organosilicas with terminal organic groups. The materials were characterized by N2 adsorption, XRD and FT-IR. The results showed that more organic content of the material usually lead to lower ordered.Through a series of hydrosilylation and Grignard reactions from a core which contain Si-Cl bonds we prepared 4 kinds of end-capped allyl-containing carbosilane dendrimers having 2 phenyl core,1 kind of similar dendrimer having 1 phenyl core.and 1 kind of similar dendrimer having 1 methyl core. Then we introduce alkoxy functional groups to outmost shell of the dendrimers. These alkoxy -functionalized dendrimers were firsrtly used as silica source to the synthesis of new organic-inorganic hybrid mesoporous organosilicas. The materials were characterized by N2 adsorption, XRD ,HTEM and FT-IR. The introduction of this functional carbosilane dendrimers not only make the molecule design more flexible but also combine the structure superiority and functional specialty with the trait of mesoporous silicas.
