LY12 alloy anodizing in sulfuric acid was researched in this subject. The target was found primary influencing factors about LY12 alloy anodizing treatment in sulfuric acid and structure about LY12 anode oxide film microstructure. That will strongly support the high speed anodizing treatment technology.Firstly, the common property and wide usage of Al and Al alloy were introduced simply. It emphasized Al and Al alloy anode oxide film growing procedure and primary influencing factors. The LY12 alloy performance and chemical constitution were introduced in the research subject. The common methods in LY12 anode oxide film preparation were summarized. The primary contents and targets of the subject were offered.And then, the characters and experimental equipments were discussed emphasis on experiment methods and routs. The LY12 alloy oxide film growth procedure in different sulfuric acid consistency was mainly researched in experiment. The primary influencing factor about film growth was discussed around: sulfuric acid consistency, cell temperature, anodizing ampere density, anodizing voltage, anodizing time and so on. The LY12 alloy oxide film gotten in experiment was analyzed about surface color and microstructure. So, the relation about film microstructure and primary alloy influencing factor were found out. The LY12 alloy forming film mechanics were discussed in different sulfuric acid consistency and process variables.Finally, the conclusion of subject was gotten as following. The oxide film hardness and thickness of LY12 alloy in highly concentrated sulfuric acid was lower than that in lowly concentrated sulfuric acid. The LY12 alloy oxide film hardness and thickness was influence by sulfuric concentration, cell temperature, oxide ampere density and so on. Low temperature and high ampere density was benefit for promoting film hardness and thickness. But ice like flaws ware found on the oxide film. There was bigger oxide film holes could product on the highly concentrated sulfuric acid condition. The color of oxide film almost entirely was original color. Reducing sulfuric concentration (to 1%), the number of oxide film holes decreased under the low temperature and some oxide film holes joined together. With the density of ampere became higher and higher, oxide film changed its color to black. The LY12 alloy surface oxide film microstructure was great different from low sulfuric concentration and high sulfuric concentration, which mechanics will be researched more in future.
