Based On Wavelet Analysis Shaoguan Iron And Steel 4 Fan Fault Diagnosis Subsystem

Wavelet Analysis is a theory developed in the past decade. It hasbeen successfully used in image processing, telecommunication and faultdiagnosis.Wavelet Packet Transform is a generation of WaveletTransform, and both of them are the main block of Wavelet Analysis. Inthis thesis, some research and application work with wavelet and waveletpacket in the field of fault diagnosis of 4# sintering fan in Shaoguan SteelGroup has been conducted. And wavelet analysis, a new time andfrequency analysis method, is used in the field of Mechanical FaultDiagnosis. This work comprises of the following parts:Introduced thesis source and significance, and the application statusquo of wavelet analysis both abroad and home ,some research ondiagnosis theory and the character of fault signal carried out thatwavelet analysis is necessary in the diagnosis process.Studied the theory of wavlet diagnosis ,and discussed how to chosewavlet basis particularly.Builded a character table of typical faultwithinwavelet analysis and wavepacket analysis for sintering fan.Discussed the cause of energy leakiness and the way to avoid it.Research on the application of wavelet transform in featureextraction was conducted,and used wavlet and wavelet packet to dealwith 4# sintering fan in Shaoguan Steel Group, pick-uped the faultmessage exactly and elicited the real fault, further more, exposed feeblefrequency with Fourier method.Used part energy of time-frequency method to plot 3D energy bar andrevealed the situation of 4# sintering fan.The result shows that it is a good method to use wavlet in mechanicalfault diagnosis,it can pick-up fault message correctly, in this way, we candetect the early fault of sintering fan. A feasible and effective method isprovided for trouble of equipment and analyzing fault.
