Synthesis and properties functional supramolecule nanomaterial in informationtechnology, life science, molecular biology and novel materials is a novel theory andtechnology. Scientists had done a lot of work and many studying products were effectin recent years. Main works were investigated as follows.1. A novel water-soluble perylene bisimide derivative was synthesized andcharacterized by TOF-MS, IR, UV-Vis, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. Four pyridine unitswere introduced into the bay regions and main regions of perylene bisimide to obtaina novel perylene bisimide derivative (N,N'-bis-(4-aminomethylpyridine)-1,6-bis-(4-hydroxypyridine)-3,4,9,10-tetra- carboxylic acid bisimide) (TPPCA).TPPCA assemble to golden nanoparticles through the N...Au interaction betweenpyridyl and golden nanoparticles. The TPPCA-AuNP composite shows a turn-onfluorescence signal in the presence of thiol-containing amino acids with highselectivity and sensitivity. We have developed a simple approach to monitor thereversion of oxidized to reduced glutathione in the presence of glutathione reductase. The TPPCA-AuNP assembly shows a turn-on fluorescent signal in the presence ofreduced glutathione, which provides a new concept to measure the balance ofglutathione in creature. The approach will enable us to exploit it to design and buildnovel biology devices and other devices based on these functional materials.2. 9-(4,5-Bis-(didodecylthio)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene) anthracen-10(9H)-one wassynthesized and characterized by ESI-MS, IR, UV-Vis, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, TGA andCyclic Voltammetry (CV). A steady and rapid anodic 0.10μA/cm2 photocurrentresponse of the C49H74OS4 film deposited onto an ITO electrode was produced underthe irradiation of 70mW/cm2 white light, indicated that this is promising as regardslight-energy conversion. Importantly, these systems have photoelectronic andphotoelectronic conversion properties. This system could produce steady and rapidanodic photocurrent response at white light irradiation, indicating that there wasintermolecular and intramolecular charge transfer in these systems. Density functionaltheory was employed to study the geometry structures and electronic structures of theproducts. In addition, on the basis of the calculating results we worked out theelectronic properties of the target compounds by using TD-DFT approach, the results are in well accordance with the experimental values. On the side of second order NLOcoefficient calculations using TDHF method, theβvalues of D-π-A systems is 27.20×10-30esu. The property could be of importance for the studies and applications onphotoelectric materials in the field of organic solar cells and second-order non-lineoptics materials.
