Because aluminium alloy has many exellenes such as low density, high specificstrengh (strengh-to weight ratio), fine corrosion resistance, readily formed and low cost, ithas wide application foreground and un-substitutable status. Therefore the aluminium hasbeen selected as one of the key issues of national defense science & technology andpreferential basic technologies. Among various aluminium alloys, the 7000series(Al-Zn-Mg-Cu) have epochmaking station in the domain of relevant research becauseof their outstanding performance, for example, high strength and good resistance toimpact. In order to reduce the weight of radar under the condition that all parts must meet therequirements of framework intensity and design requests, all components should be madeof medium/high strength aluminium alloys instead if low strength alloys being uesd inpresent. This research work's emphasis is the application research of "7005/7075medium/high strength aluminium alloy". Through solid-dissolve experiment, ageingtreatment, test-contrast and machining experiment of varies welding, we can learn andmaster machining performance, heat treament performance and welding characteristics of7005/7075 aluminium alloy. Ground on these the technics criterion of 7005/7075aluminium alloy can be established in the using of radar. It is the base for further extendand application of 7005/7075 aluminium alloy in radar production. This paper is bothinterpret, summarize and sublimation of the result of our research work, in it we analysedthe experimental result, explored interiorness of the alloy and accomplished the technicsmethod of the alloy.
