The guarantee experiment result is reliability, repetitiveness and comparable. We study settlement function research and probes the way to the model ore pulp.By the regular producing ore pulp of red mud component, arousing the settlement slot run all over component, bauxite of component and the survey about the alumina factory, we find the cause that the contents of silicon too high in bauxite .One kind of effective flocculant have sifted from the three kinds flocculant , the flocculant flocculation effect is good, the separating effect is distinct, and the up liquid is clearThe different quantity sodium silicate is appended to the ore pulp, the reaction condition is: temperature 98℃, dilution degree is 1 , time is 23 mins. the settlement function by determining the red mud ascertains the amounts compounding the sodium silicate addition. Check the red mud component by XRD, analytical result demonstrate the two red mud compounding basic is identical. Indication that the way that Confect the model ore pulp research dissolves out the ore pulp settlement function is feasible.Add the containing calcium compound to the simulation ore pulp, it can improve the red mud settlement function, the experiment result indicated very good put in contain calcium compound improvement red mud settlement function. When adding the alumina compound of the model ore pulp. Adding sodium the matter and ore pulp reaction and arousing the loss of aluminum. So, studying Reducing the aluminum loss is the direction for the future.Since, the aluminum factory evade the question, the experiment result do not industrialization. But, the thesis studies result still.has certain consult value to the type problem that resolving the type in the industry production.
