On the basis of general analyzing and summarizing the advanced experiences of the same kind of blasting theory and technology of mining at home and abroad, in this paper, we study and explore the technology and mechanism of pothole blasting, do small-and-big hole pothole blasting experiments respectively of the three rocks in Shanchuan mine, get three rocks' reasonable pothole blasting technology, recommend the efficient blasting technical parameters in Shanchuan mine area, and carry out the test of blasting vibration generated in producing blasting. The paper's main research conclusion is as follows:(1) Mechanism of pothole BlastingWhen pothole blasting, the rock mass around the dynamite package is completely smashed by the effect of shock wave, meanwhile, lots of radial and annulus crannies and dense micro-crannies are produced in the wall rock. In a second pothole blasting, the gas produced by blasting will insert through all kinds of crannies, and make the already shockwave smashed ground rock sheds off from hole wall under this time the function of the wave and the explosion air, and accompany with the high-speed air jetting out from the hole, thus make the body of hole extend because the powder rock shed off to expand.(2) Shanchuan mine's three kinds of rock reasonable pothole blasting quantity is not coincident with experimental formula, the reason of which is that the joint crannies in Shanchuan mine area is relatively rich.(3) The dynamite-loading structure suction which connects prolonging dynamite package loading with dynamite pot collecting loading, combines the advantages of collecting and prolonging dynamite package, and can improve the effect of fragmentation of upper-sidestep rock and equalize broken rock block.(4) EXP3850 blasting vibration test system and the attached DASVIEW2.1 test and analysis software extremely meet the requirement of open-pit blasting vibration test.By the test, we can conclude the attenuation rule of open slope blasting vibration Shanchuan mine area. The result of the blasting vibration indicates that blasting parameters used in mining at present and that recommended in this project will not make devastating influence to Shanchuan mine surface mining slope and surrounding resident area.
