The steam generator is one of the most important equipments in nuclear power plant. In this paper at first there are some introductions about the damage mechanisms and reasons of the heat-exchanging tubes of steam generator with WWER type, and about the eddy current inspection technology for the heat-exchanging tubes. Then to talk about how to assess the structure integrity of the tubes with the EC inspection, and how to determine the plugging criteria for the EC inspection. And try to introduce the calculation flow of the determination of the plugging criteria with the example of one nuclear power plant; and give the example to show the function for EC inspection to determine the whole condition change of steam generator between the different inspections. At last point out the questions for the determination of appropriate criteria, and what should be done in the future.
