Solid control system for drilling fluid is one of main petroleum drilling equipments. As the increasing drilling quality is required in the modern drilling technology, the quality of purifying drilling fluid influences directly drilling quality and cost, and solid control system for drilling fluid with good quality in drilling engineering is necessary. Solid control system is equipped with various models and level purifying devices including vibrating screen, sand separator, sludge remover, centrifuge, vertiginous mixer and shear pump, etc according to drilling requirement, which is used to circulate and purify drilling fluid to make sure that the parameters including density and viscosity meet the requirements of drilling technology.Based on requirements and development features of drilling technology in Daqing, solid control system for drilling fluid satisfying various requirements of solid control technology is designed and developed. It meets the requirements for drilling fluid in drilling technology completely, and optimizes configuration of solid control purifying device for drilling fluid, avoiding wasting and insufficient configuration and improving equipment level of solid control system for drilling fluid.Aiming at requirements of solid control system for drilling fluid in Daqing, advantages and disadvantages of available solid control system are analyzed. Advanced solid control system for drilling fluid fit for production requirements is developed, combined with drilling technology flow and requirements in Daqing. Operating principle, purifying efficiency and serviceable range of solid control device at home and abroad are compared. Parameters are calculated based on specific requirements of solid control flow and the solid control device is chosen to achieve the best matching effect. Structure, circuitry system and auxiliary tools of solid control system are computed to meet features including reasonable structural design, reliable and safe operation. The solid control system flow for drilling fluid is optimized, and consequently have many technology flows including circulating drilling fluid, adding weight and drug, supply, etc with reasonable pipe layout, convenient adjustment, improving the solid control effect for drilling fluid greatly. On the basis of solid control devices are applied, i.e. entire matching ability of vibrating screen, sand separator, sludge remover, centrifuge, vertiginous mixer and shear pump is studied, achieving the best result. The critical devices are researched systematically and computed reasonably based on actual drilling fluid, making the capability of solid control device satisfy the requirement of modern drilling engineering.
