Chalcone and its derivatives are important organic intermediates. Based on the properties of chalcones, a serial of reactions, such as Michael addition, photocycloaddition, polymerization etc are normally involved and chalcones are also widely used in coordination chemistry and supramolecular chemistry. Some chalcones and their analogues showed excellent biological activities, for example: antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antitumor activities and inhibiting the growth of weed. The synthesis and isolation of chalcones from natural products have drawn much attention in the field of biomedical, agronomy, and food science. As a kind of versatile intermediates, chalcones have been used widely in the synthesis of organic compounds and medicines.Chalcones can be prepared through condensation of acetophenones with benzaldehydes. They are uaually performed under classic homogeneous conditions in alcohol. Recently, some new methods such as under phase-transfer conditions,microwave irradiation etc were reported.Pyrazole nitrogen-containing heterocycles is intensively applied in pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries due to their antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, herbicidal, insecticidal and fungicidal properties. In the beginning of this century, somebody began to synthesize the compound, then, many chemists develop lots of pyrazole derivatives containing more activities by introducing new substitute or combining the pyrazole moiety to other heterocycles, which also have good activities.By using the classical method of piperonal, furfural and p-methoxybenzald for raw materials and acetophenone derivatives for the three cross-reaction of chalcone, using solid-phase method in grinding under solvent-free conditions of ferrocenylchalcone, and were characterized.By comparison shows that: solid-phase method used for non-organic solvent, and after the experimental treatment process more simple and easy to operate. Full access reaction mixture, reduce the occurrence of the reaction and response, the yield has improved markedly, solvent-free organic synthesis is safe, environmentally green chemistry methods.Use the part of quetzales for raw materials, in return for ethanol solvent conditions for reaction with hydrazine hydrates of new pyrazole derivatives.
