Although Polyaniline (PANI) has unique doping process, better physical chemistry properties, good stability, however its worse processiblity, poor solubility and bad dynamic properties have limited its application and development. So improve the processiblity of conductive polymers and guarantee their properties become a hot point in widening the application range of conducting polymers. Seek a new synthetic method, develop the substituents of these polymers and copolymerization have been a useful method to solve this kind of problems. The inclusion polymerization method was a new preparation of conductive polymers. In this paper because of the presence of theβ-cyclodextrin in the reaction the polymers has a good condition to shaping in a special form such as nano wires or nano sticks, so the conductivity and the thermal stability of copolymers synthesized by our method was increased compared to the control copolymers. In this paper, we have done the following works:1 A brief overview is given for the development and the research advancement, the versatile applications and the synthetic ing polymers.2 The supramolecular inclusion compounds ofβ-cyclodextrin with aniline,o-anthranilic acid and o-phenylenediamine was prepared. The properties of the compound were investigated by using the differential analysis, and the inclusion equilibrium constants (Kf) was determined by fluorescent method. The experimental results demonstrated thatβ-CD formed 1:1 host-guest compound .3 Polyaniline (W-PANI) with excellent electrical conductivity was synthesized by the oxidative polymerization of aniline which was in theirβ-cyclodextrin inclusion compounds. The synthesized Polyaniline was characterized by CV,FTIR,WXRD,TGA and SEM, as well as four-point probes technique. The results suggest that problematic parasitic branching of the polymer is obviated and fibrillar Polyaniline was predominant in the product. The conductivity of Polyaniline synthesized by our method has reached 20 S·cm-1 at 25℃, and the thermal stability of W-PANI was increased compared to the control PANI.4 Poly(aniline-co-anthranilic acid) (W-PAOAA) were synthesized at the oxidation of (NH4)2S2O8 when the molar ratio of o-anthranilic acid (o-AA) to aniline (ANI) is different. Their structures were characterized by FTIR. In addition, their conductivities were detected by four-point probes technique. The results suggested that W-PAOAA have a better solubility and conductivity than control PAOAA.Novel copolymers from o-phenylenediamine (o-PD) with aniline (ANI) were facilely synthesized which was in theirβ-cyclodextrin inclusion compounds. The synthesis, structures, and properties of the copolymers were systematically studied by changing the content of o-PD. The experimental results demonstrated that the solubility of conductive polymers has improved and guaranteed its conductivity.
