Fly ash is solid waste which comes from coal-fired power plant,its main chemical components are Silica,Alumina,Iron oxide,Calcium oxide,Unburned carbon and so on.Fly ash is with big surface areas and a large number of points,which can react chemical adsorption and physical adsorption with the adsorbent,so the fly ash has more strong adsorption properties.After modified treatment can improve the adsorption properties of fly ash greatly,and adsorp heavy metal ions,organic and inorganic pollutants effectively. Fly ash used in wastewater treatment is simple, effective and low-cost.This paper use fly ash as raw material,used modified wet process Preparates fly ash adsorbent.First used single factor experiment screened for modifier of fly ash,and determined modifier concentration,using orthogonal experimental method determines proportion of modifier compound of fly ash.using single factor experiment and orthogonal experimental method research on the preparation of parameters and factors influencing of modified fly ash,and modified fly ash is used in the simulation of Copper ions,Zinc ions,Chromium ions wastewater and actual smelting wastewater treatment,Studied modified fly ash on the wastewater treatment effect and the best operating conditions and influencing factors;discussed modified fly ash for copper ion,zinc ion,chromium ion adsorption mechanism;Finally, analysis modified fly ash economic and technical simplely.The experimental results show that:the better adsorption properties of fly ash modifier are Sodium carbonate,Aluminum sulfate,Ferrous sulfate and so on,when sodium carbonate concentration is 0.5mol/L,aluminum sulfate and ferrous sulfate concentration is 10%,adsorption properties of fly ash is better;and when 0.5mol/L sodium carbonate concentration: 10% aluminum sulfate:10% ferrous sulfate the volume ratio of 3:2:3,the complex dubbed double salt (abbreviations: NAF) modified fly ash after,which can improve its adsorption properties rapidly,copper ion, zinc ion,chromium ion removal rate reached 97.83%,98.56%,98.90%,so NAF as the modifier of this study fly ash.Preparation of modified fly ash optimum parameters: solid-liquid ratio l:8,shocks time of 0.5 hours,the water temperature was 55℃,modifier usage is the most important factor of the impact of modified fly ash Preparation,followed by the water temperature,the least is shocks time.The best process parameters of modified fly ash treatment in copper ions wastewater is that pH is from 6 to 8,adsorption time is 35 min,the water temperature was raw water temperature,the dosage is 0.5 g/100ml, dosage of modified fly ash is main factors which affected containing copper ions wastewater treatment by modified fly ash, adsorption time followed,pH and temperature is smaller;The best process parameters of modified fly ash treatment in zinc ions wastewater is that pH is from 5 to 8,adsorption time is 30 min, the water temperature was raw water temperature,the dosage is 0.5g/100ml, dosage of modified fly ash is main factors which affected containing zinc ionswastewater treatment by modified fly ash, adsorption time followed,pH and temperature is smaller;The best process parameters of modified fly ash treatment in Chromium ions wastewater is that pH is 8,adsorption time is 20 min,the water temperature was raw water temperature,the dosage is 0.5g/100ml,dosage of modified fly ash is main factors which affected containing Chromium ions wastewater treatment by modified fly ash,pH adsorption time followed,adsorption time and temperature is smaller. In actual smelting wastewater treatment:the best process parameters of modified fly ash treatment in copper ions and zinc ions is that pH is pH of raw water, adsorption time is 30 min,the water temperature was raw water temperature,the dosage is 0.20g/100ml;Orthogonal experiments show that: the most important factors of the impact of copper ions and zinc ions in removal is dosage of modified fly ash;the importance of three factors in chronological sequence: dosage of modified fly ash>adsorption time>pH.Modified fly ash for copper ions,zinc ions,Chromium ions adsorption meet Langmuir adsorption isotherm and Freundlich adsorption isotherm,which belong to single molecular layer adsorption.Preparation of modified fly ash is low cost, about 700 yuan / tons.
